Homework House invites students in grades 4 through 12 to come in for homework assistance, reading, study and research opportunities. Volunteers are on hand for assistance and encouragement, and nutritional snacks are provided. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 p.m. throughout the school year students can receive help at the Buchanan Middle School library.
Math Camp
A new extension of Homework House for the 2012-13 year is Math Camp. This reoccurring two-week program will focus on improving math facts and provide intensive support. Students will attend a 30 min session (3:30-4:00 or 4:00-4:30) Monday through Thursday for two weeks. In addition to the math help, students will receive a snack. This program will be offered at the Wray Public Library.

The Area Agency on Aging, in conjunction with the Colorado Division of Insurance, is sponsoring a Colorado Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program. It is a program for Medicare recipients and their families who wish assistance in understanding Medicare benefits and coverage gaps, Medicare Part D sign up, medical bills, and other insurance options. Counselors will not recommend or endorse specific insurance policies, but will educate and assist you in making informed insurance choices. These services are provided without charge and are available to all Medicare recipients.
Lessons & Learnings are informational sessions. Topics vary according to interest and demand. These sessions are free of charge and open to the public.
Encore Life strives to be informed about and connected to area senior services. Our goal is to be the ONE call you make in order to identify needed service providers and receive appropriate contact information.
